Tell us about the farthest you’ve ever traveled from home.
I’m about 1441 km away from home right now. That’s the farthest I’ve ever travelled from home. I joined this post graduate course here. . .I don’t know why I did it. Mostly peer pressure I’d say. I’d rather be doing a job. Maybe not as prestigious as this Institute perhaps. But the course is unnecessarily time-consuming. And since I’ve already had my share of gap years, I’m not really looking forward to a course that is three years long, when I can complete my post-graduation in one or two years at other places. Now that I am writing about it, it feels like most of the reason why I came here was that others were all crazy about this place. Do I still have time to turn back? If only we always stayed 17, decision-making would probably be a lot simpler. But since that’s not the case, we have to think a lot more wisely about what we are allotting our time to. And we don’t have a lot of time to decide where we should spend time. For instance, I need to make my decision today itself. . .’cause I got my signs to leave this place only a couple of days ago. If only I had some more money, it would make up a little for the limited time I have. But alas.
